- The Naked Kill was given a staged reading at Theatre Guinevere, New York, NY with Jeanie Hackett.
- Heart’s Desire, developed by legendary director Ellis Rabb, who directed and read a part in a reading with Joe Sommer and Patricia Connolly. Eventually the play was given a staged reading at Williamstown Theatre Festival featuring George Grizzard, Patricia Elliott, Donna Murphy and Perry Gilpin. Then it was then selected for a workshop production at Merrimack Repertory Theatre in Lowell, Massachusetts.

- Ms. Elliott read the lead in my drama, Out Of The Blue, at the Writers Theatre; it was also read at Merely Players, directed by Marnie Andrews.
- I was a playwright-in-residence at the Ensemble Studio Theatre’s Summer Conference in 1988, where my play, Desperately Yours was read with Polly Adams; it was also read at Merely Players, directed by Elizabeth Hess; it was read again at the Writers Theatre, featuring Gerry Bamman and directed by Laurie Kennedy.
- Who Killed the Critic? was read at the Writers Theatre and again by the Ark Theatre Company at the Stella Adler Theatre as part of ALAP’s Festival of New Plays.

- The Godhead, directed by Shelly Berman, won the 17th Annual One-Act Play Festival at USC in 1998, featuring Ray Abruzzo and Mary Chen.
- The Man Who Was a Woman (first act) was read at EST Sunday Best in 2000.
- Insult-a-rama (first act) appeared in the Ensemble Studio Theatre, L.A.’s 2001 Winterfest, featuring John Capodice, Salli Saffioti and Ray Xifo.
- Candor was read at The Coronet Theater, featuring Wendy Malick, Dan Lauria and Mary Joy in 2005; it appeared again in EST’s 2006 Winterfest.

- Argument (first act) was read in the Ensemble Studio Theatre, L.A.’s Playwright’s Unit with Mary Portser and at the Theatre’s first Play Day, both in 2008.
